One of the major realities of life is that change is consistent and all things are subject to time and change. The implication is that one can only ignore change to his detriment. To achieve the ordained purpose of God for our lives therefore, we must learn to submit to what God is doing or saying at each point in time. The Bible tells us in I Corinthians 14:10 that there are many voices (emanating from families, traditions, cultures, etc.) and each voice is saying something significant to take us in a different direction and disconnect us from the purpose and will of God. One of the worst things that can happen to a child of God is to be disconnected from his source (Jesus).
