BALANCE AND ALIGNMENT IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.”  (Isa. 60:1 NKJV)

We are living in an interesting time in our country, Nigeria.  This is a time that God has promised to promote His people (Isa. 60:2).  A period when God is going to make a difference in the lives of those who serve Him and those that don’t (Isa. 60:3).

The scripture tells us in Proverbs 23:18 that the expectations of the righteous shall not be cut off.  But this promise is only for the righteous whose thoughts and ways are balanced and aligned with the thoughts and ways of God.

In Isaiah 55:9, the LORD tells us that His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither is our ways His ways.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts.

Our journey while on this earth must be predicated on God’s reality.  We have been called to live in God’s own reality.  Every failed promise of God is the outcome of a believers’ refusal to align and be balanced in the Kingdom of God.  The fastest way to death is to be carnally minded but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Rom. 8:6)

Beware of religion.  Being in the church is different from being in the Kingdom of God.  We cannot be in the Kingdom of God and not have our will balanced and aligned with the will of God, has it is done in heaven (Matt. 6:10).

Before we can arise and shine because our light is shinning (Isa. 60:1), our belief system and mind must first be renewed (Rom. 12:2).  For this to happen, our mind, our thinking must be aligned and balanced along the lines of the thoughts and ways of God (Isa. 55:9).  We must activate the mind of Christ (Phil. 2:5) in us (1 Cor. 2:16) before we can know, find and understand God’s perfect will for us.

To be aligned and balanced in the kingdom of God starts with activating the mind of Christ within us.  To succeed in this interesting time, we must begin not only to see as God sees, but also to think as God thinks (Isa. 11:3).  We must have the mind of Christ.

God is the only thing we need as Christians.  When we begin to activate and use the mind of Christ, the Gentiles will come to our light and kings to the brightness of our rising (Isa. 60:3), we cannot but excel when the worlds system is in a period of crisis.  This is the season for our lifting.
