“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”. (Eccl. 12:1) (NKJV)
The Spirit of God in us is meant to empower us to fulfill the will of God (Isa. 61: 1-3). It is therefore a tragedy for anyone to claim to have His spirit and remain in bondage. God’s desire and plan for us is that we should be free from every limitation to truly serve Him. A man that is bound by either the stronghold of poverty, sickness, fear, doubt, money, tradition, customs, oppression, limitations, etc cannot be in a position to truly serve God.
The starting point therefore is for us to be free from any and all forms of bondage in order to be able to fulfill our divine assignment, while in this world. It is only the word of God that can set us free (John 1:1 & 14). It is only the word of God that has the capacity to purge our conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Heb 9:14). No one can truly succeed outside God.
We must be productive in order to be blessed by God. We are “His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10). We cannot succeed or be a winner outside of God.
God’s eternal plan for His children is that they would be blessed through Him (Deut. 28:2-13). There is an unfolding glory for us as His children, if we stay where God wants us to stay. God works with the heart (2 Tim. 2:22) and not age (Ezek. 16:60). Therefore, remember to serve God in the days of your youth (Eccl. 12:1). God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6) because you cannot serve God in vain.
God is able to establish His children. There is no better time than NOW, to submit, embrace and to trust God to engage you (Luke 4:18). There must be something that you are doing because God will only bless the works of your hands (Deut 2:7). To be blessed by God, is not by chance or lottery. We must therefore be ready and prepared to change our mind set (Rom. 12:2).
It takes bravery to stand for Christ in the world today and not fall for anything. It takes an inner strength to go all the way for God (Dan. 3:16). Our God is able to establish those who put their trust in Him (Dan. 3:25). He will never forsake the righteous (Ps. 37:25).
