PRAYER SECRETS OF THE KINGDOM (part 2)

“therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mark 11:24)
When we approach God in prayer, and we have the covenant mindset that he knows that we have need for basic things while in this world, only then can we pray with the consciousness the He has made provisions for it, because his responsibility in the covenant is to provide for us and our God is a covenant keeping God.
God will also want us to know that prayer is also a means of seeking his counsel (Ps. 27:4< 1 Sam. 23:2 &4). We must not only learn to seek the face of God who is wonderful in counsel (Isa. 28:29), a wonderful counselor (Isa. 9:6) and the great in counsel (Jer. 32:19) but we must also learn to wait for him for counsel (Ps.106:13).
A believer who is void of understanding and counsel is a disaster waiting to happen (Deut. 32:28). God want us to get into the habit of asking him for wisdom (James 1:5). God is a revealer of secrets (Dan. 2:28-29)
We must also seek how things are done in the kingdom of God (Deut. 29:29), because it is the doer of the world that is blessed and not the hearer (James 1:22-25). Faith without work is dead (James 2:20).
When we pray to God, we should also have the covenant mindset that we have taken spiritual delivery and have received the answer to our request (mark 11:24), even before the physical manifestation (Rom. 1:17). This consciousness enables us to praise God even before the physical manifestation because the holy God has spoken, knowing that the spiritual realm controls the physical realm and God cannot lie (Num. 23;19).
Praising God for his word is a spiritual exercise we must all undertake as believers. Joy and praise is an expression of faith that moves God. With the understanding that our God is a covenant keeping God, when he has spoken, we should start rejoicing.
We must learn to praise God not only for what he has done for us but also for his word (Ps. 56:9-10, Ps. 60:6). We are rejoicing at the word, because the word is a seed which must grow in a favourable environment to fast track the miracle (Ps. 119:162) and also because where the word of a king I, there is power (Eccl. 8;4).
Our mind set must be aligned with kingdom perspective because two cannot walk together except they agree (Amos 3:3).
